Deborah (Debbie)'s Story

I am married and have lived in WA state since 1992. I worked as a secretary in the construction industry in CA prior to leaving. My husband was born in WA move to and grew up in Kansas. He later moved to CA where we met when he was my UPS driver at my office, we have been married 29 years. We live about 20 miles north of Seattle in the Everett/Millcreek area. I have 2 children from a previous marriage. My daughter moved to TX and got married and my son moved there when he finished with the army. My daughter has 8 kids all girls except for 1 boy plus she also has 1 grandson. My son is married and has 3 children 1 girl and two identical twin boys. I visit them and my other family who still reside in the Covina area of CA as often as I can. I keep fresh water aquariums and we have 2 dogs, a lab-mix and a new pup a german ...Expand for more
shep/amer-bulldog mix, they keep me occupied all day especially in the winter months. In the spring, summer and fall I enjoy my yard and although it is hard work (weeding) I find it rewarding when garden looks so nice when I'm done. My husband helps when the work is too hard for me to do, but I do most of it or hire help sometimes. It rains (its Seattle) but this sun loving "California girl" loves the rain and unlike most Washintonians I don't get down when it gets grey outside for long periods of time. My son used to be embarrassed when I'd be weeding the yard in the rain, I needed to get the weeds before the weeds got the better of my yard. Don't get me wrong the rain can also be very cold, I pass on those days. It snows here too (I don't like the snow) it usually melts off in a few days, but then leaves icy conditions.

Anyone know what this bush is? I planted it from an almost dead 6" pot with no label. I'd like to get another one for a different part of my yard.
Christine was 25 Tim was 23 in the Army. I was 45 and very proud of my 2 children.
We live in the Everett/Millcreek area of WA. That's in the PNW. This bird started coming out to my feeder, I don't know what it is. It's no larger than all the other birds here chickadee sixe.

This is the close up, one shot out of target the other one was Tim's. I had a great time in TX, with my family and lunch with my long time friend Phyllis Clayton-Huaute from Haslett. It was loud, there was a football game
This is a picture of my Dad on the horse my parents got me for my 10th birthday. Every occasion that I could wish for something it was a horse. Her name was Saltana.
Does anyone know what this plant is? It's perennial, liked morning sun, I've never seen flowers on it but if I remember it has small berries. The leaf is dark green with a dark purple stem to the leaf.

My little kitty hides like this all the time. She has a tube she plays hide in, again leaving her whole body out, she just tucks her head in. She does not like to be found.
Same accident.
She loves her Daddy's shoes, usually chewing on them, luckily she's beginning to out grow this puppy habit.
Just waiting for the show to start. Comedy from Stonecold and Spinelli from the soap opera I have watched since I was 12 years old, General Hospital. I know they also sing but now stand-up comedy. Further info to follow

This is our Shasta sleeps on her couch most of the time.
This is our 3rd dog, Trisha. She's 8 months now, we've had her since December 28th. She's a bit shy but all the dogs get along great, the other dogs act like parents over her.
